This AutoCad 2000 Training Course provides design professionals with an introduction to AutoCad 2000 through working with basic through advanced AutoCad commands. Throughout this course, your instructor, Kristen Kurland, will walk you through many techniques including working with object properties such as layers, colors, linetypes, linetype scales and lineweights.
In this course, you will learn how to work with dimensions, dimension styles and dimension commands. You will also learn about regions, boundaries and caching external reference files, among other topics.

Meet Your AutoCad 2000 Training Instructor
Kristen Kurland is arguably the best CAD instructor in the market. Kristen's background and education are deeply rooted in programs like AutoCAD and DataCAD. She has a degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and has written numerous training manuals for various software platforms. Kristen has many years of industry experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). She has implemented CAD, CAFM, and GIS programs in numerous organizations since 1988. Her clients include architects, engineers, manufacturing firms, hospitals, universities, corporations, as well as local, state and federal government. In addition to her industry experience, Ms. Kurland is a faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University where she teaches AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, GIS, and CAFM.
