myPrintMileage is a service that HP provides to help you keep track of your device to help you estimate the use of equipment and stock purchase plan. It consists of two parts:
myPrintMileage website
myPrintMileage AutoSend, utilities that use of the device periodically update information on the site myPrintMileage
To use myPrintMileage, you must have the following:
Toolbox (Windows) is installed
Internet Connection
The connected device
HP recommends that you enable myPrintMileage to send data over three to six months to allow a significant amount to collect data on the site myPrintMileage.
To use Print accounting feature, you must register for the service through the site myPrintMileage.
In myPrintMileage website, you can see the following items:
Print analysis, such as the amount of ink you use, whether you use more black ink or color, and the approximate number of pages to print with the amount of remaining ink.
Print accounting, which allows you to generate reports showing data usage, cost per page, or cost per job for a specified period; export this data as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet files, and set up e-mail alerts and notifications to receive printed reports of accounting.
To gain access to myPrintMileage
Toolbox (Windows)
On the Information tab, myPrintMileage click, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
Windows taskbar
Right-click the Toolbox icon on the Windows taskbar, myPrintMileage click, then select View the use of my print.
Do not bookmark a Web page that is used to open myPrintMileage. If you bookmark the site and connect to by using a bookmark, the page will not contain current information.
